Private House South Wales

The Clients of this 10 year old property were in need of additional floor space on the ground floor, but did not require an extension. The garage was under used and the exising layout was restrictive.
Under the scheme the garage was converted into the Entrance Hall with a new staircase, additional storage cupboards and a Utility Room. The kitchen and Dining Room were opened up as a single space allowing for a large kitchen and dining area. The existing Hall and staircase were removed and this area was incorporated into the Living Room providing a large spacious area.




West Wales Farmhouse

The existing 150 year old traditional farmhouse, when purchased by the Clients was in a state of delapitation. The Clients brief was to create a traditional farmhouse appearance to the main frontage and a contemporary style render and glass extended accommodation to the rear overlooking open countryside with extensive views. The finished scheme provides a large open plan Living / Dining / Kitchen with tiled floors. Utility Room, Large Entrance hall and imposing staircase to the first floor galleried landing, Bedrooms and Bathrooms. The stonework to the front elevation was constructed from salvaged stone from the site.
The finished scheme provides a large, light filled building, heated and ventilated using the latest technologies.




Stable Conversion
Vale of Glamorgan

The Client wished to convert an exisiting Stable Building on a farm on the edge of the Vale of Glamorgan into a Residential Unit. The brief was for a large open plan Living Room and Kitchen with a separate Utility Room, Two Large Bedrooms and Linked Bathroom.
The existing slate roof was retained and roof timbers removed to provide a open vaulted ceiling throughout. All existing internal walls were removed and new layout constructed. Existing external openings were adjusted and traditional timber windows installed. A traditional oak framed and stone entrance porch was constructed.
